Ice Cool is an upgrade hybrid of the cannabis strain NYC Diesel with a variety of Indian genetics.
Ice Cool is a very special 60% sativa strain that was developed from a New York City Diesel before further work was carried out on it with an assortment of Indian-sourced genetics. It has the appearance of an indica with a super, soaring sativa high. It is named after the preponderance of frosty trichomes that it develops.
When cultivated indoors this strain can produce between 400 – 500 gr/m2 in a 9 week flowering period under 600 watt grow lights. Its late September northern hemisphere harvest means that in all but the worst late summer/early autumn weather it will mature in more temperate climates producing between 350 – 550 gr/plant. During late flowering the mass of resin-covered buds has the appearance of a snow-capped mountain range.
The aroma is not only exotic but extremely strong too. THC production is also very high and is reckoned to be in excess of 20%. The effect is psychedelic and really long-lasting and it is small wonder that this is one of Sweet Seeds’ favourite cannabis strains.
