Our very first Black Label Certified cultivar is this extremely special creation, Romscotti (our owners personal favorite, entering his top 5 all-time smokes from over 30+ years of toking). As a way of declaring this cultivar special above all of the others we have made, we created a new designation: Black Label Certified. This title will only be applied to the best of the best in our opinion. We will only designate a cultivar as BLC once in a blue moon, and only when something is truly deserving of the honor. All BLC packaging will come with specially designed black colored labels, which stand in contrast to our typical white back ground colored labels.
Romscotti is a very potent, extremely heavy indica dominant plant. Fast acting effects, and full body relaxation with a euphoric sedation. The smells and tastes are very complex, with the smells being slightly easier to interpret but the tastes being so complex its difficult to accurately describe them to others. We like to say that Romscotti is an entirely new taste, like nothing you’ve had before, yet it’s as familiar as every old school strain you have ever loved. The rich complex flavors, all blend together into something that is comforting and delicious, reminiscent of the indica dominant strains of the 90’s. There are notes of coffee, chocolate, earth, spice, sweetness, dough, fruit, and gasoline. The progeny is made of 30%-50% “white” genotypes which have the complex coffee and chocolate hints, while the other 30-50% of the progeny have the sweeter gas tastes. Both are equally good, but our owner finds the “white” genotypes to be the most desirable. These are easily found during the later weeks of flowering as the buds appear as large, almost pure white looking, flowers. Some of you may prefer the sweeter phenotypes, but our testers universally agree here that the earthier “white” phenos have some of the best smoke they have had in a long time. Easy to grow well, with normal stretching ½-1.5x. Some finish as early as 9 weeks, most are ready around week 10, and few may take as long as 11 weeks for full maturity though these should be rare genotypes. Extremely easy trim, medium dense flowers with excellent extraction potential, and top-level lab results for cannabinoids and terpenes.

We recommend growing all feminized seeds in the veg. state until they have reached sexual maturity (stigmas beginning to show) before flowering them. Stabilization through cloning is also recommended for those who prefer that route. This drastically reduces the risk of intersex traits that may be experienced by a very small amount of growers *(higher rates may be experienced with feminized seeds). We have thoroughly tested these seeds just like all of our seeds prior to releasing them, and found no issues, but based on our experience those who rush seeds into flowering tend to be the ones who we see have problems.
