Description
TWENTY20 MENDOCINO > EARLY FROST FAST (SNOWG F3 PHOTOPERIOD X HONEY BADGER F7 AUTOFLOWER)
This is our most uniform and earliest of the Earlies. Some farms were harvesting as soon as late August. This variety was bred for outdoor, full term, early harvest, and performs best under those circumstances. The parents are each the product of their own passion project. The Honey Badger F4 auto produces the highest quality resin glands we have ever seen on an autoflower. The Snow-G is a year over year outdoor champion by finish date, stress resistance, yields, and of course: Gas. The marriage of these lineages does not disappoint. This year, we look forward to an Early Frost.
Hybridized Earlies
In 2023, we embarked on a large-scale experiment to test a variety of early ripening cultivars we had been developing for several years. The tests were a huge success and in 2024 we expanded the experiment to include over 10,000 plants from 10 different cultivars at various farms throughout the US. The overwhelmingly positive feedback we received from the farms ushered the official release of our brand new product line. Hybridized Earlies are created by breeding our most potent and fast flowering pure-bred autoflower (Honey Badger Tier-2 F7) with some of our very best outdoor cultivars. The result is an extremely aggressive, ultra potent, fast flowering plant. These cultivars were specifically developed for mid-September harvest. Many farms that only grew a small percentage of earlies in 2024 are already talking about growing them exclusively in 2025.
A few notes and tips concerning Hybridized Earlies:
* Earlies are true photoperiod plants dependent on the light cycle to induce flowering. However, they can have hair trigger tendencies and can easily be triggered to flower from factors such as stress, inconsistent light scheduled, etc.
* In order to ensure the plants will be harvest-ready in September, it’s important to sow the seeds before the end of May. In our test plots, we observed more variation in harvest date on the batches that were planted in late June and July.
* Although they can be cloned, Earlies have a tendency to flower under stress and are generally unstable as mother plants and clones
