Bubba Whip F2 (F) INFO
TWENTY20 MENDOCINO > BUBBA WHIP! (PRE-98 BUBBA X THE WHIP!)
Type: Feminized Hybrid Photoperiod
Lineage: Pre-98 Bubba x The Whip!
We use the classic “lineage” protocol with the parents listed in order of female first and male (or pollen donor) second.
Type: Feminized Photoperiod, Indica
This characterizes whether the cultivar is a Sativa, Indica or hybrid.
Filial Generation: F2
This expresses the fillial generation of the cultivar. IX refers to In-cross which is used to categorize two close relatives that have been bred together. S1 is used for “selfed” plants in which we reverse a clone onto itself
PVI (Phenotypic Variation Index): Below Average
This is a classification system we have developed in order to provide cultivators information regarding the amount of phenotypic variation that should be expected. Simply put, this describes the uniformity or lack thereof. The PVI index is calculated with a formula using a variety of observed traits. Although the formula we developed outputs a quantitative number between 1 and 10, we are publishing the results in qualitative format. The qualitative parameters we are: Very Low, Low, Below Average, Average, Above Average, High.
Indoor Flower Time: 58-68 days
This represents the total expected flowering time from the first day of light cycle adjustment to the flowering cycle. This parameter was developed for guidance on indoor cultivation only. For outdoor cultivation please see “Outdoor Harvest Date”.
Outdoor Harvest Date: Mid Oct
This represents the approximate harvest date. The actual ripening date can vary slightly throughout different climate zones and growing conditions.
Trellising Requirements: Minimal but flowers are huge and heavy and may need some support
Height/Stretch: Below average indoors but outdoor plants get huge
This is the term often used to describe the amount of growth that occurs after flowering has commenced.
Yield (per sf): Above Average
This is the yield you would expect relative to other varieties grown in the same conditions at the same time. We use the terms “below average, average , above average and high
Color: Mostly dark green with purple expressions
Usually green or purple or both.
Nose: Light Bubba Kush smell, deep kush gas and extremely hashy with slight candy undertones
This category is subjective and not based on quantitative data. * the higher the PVI the more variation in aroma you should expect.
Tips from the grower: Plants do great with LST. Moderate defoliation is recommended, especially with outdoor plants near harvest time. This is an excellent choice for outdoor gardens but because of the dense foliage, keep an eye out for mold. This is also an ideal selection for light deprivation greenhouses.

Notes: She is large and stout. This was a standout winner from our 2021 outdoor garden phenohunt. Expect big stout plants with super resinous and sticky buds.
